In this week’s class, Dr Cecile put us through on how to go about writing our essay. She explained how the structure of the work should look like. She referred to a document that she attached to the canvas so we can use as a guide for writing out essays. I found the guide really helpful; it made the essay look easier. Dr Cecile also explained how to go about writing our process book. It should be a documentation of all that we’ve gained from each class and also what we found useful for our project. She also explained how our project will be graded. We will be assessed based on the structure of the work, the originality, the sources, time management of the project and evidence of production skills.

We were also put into breakout rooms where we go to share our process books. I really loved talking to my course mates ad sharing ideas because it gave me clarity on how best go about my process book.

After the breakout room session, Dr Cecile asked if anyone wanted to talk with her individually about their project. I got my own slot and I showed Dr Cecile my new presentation. She liked the idea and she helped me narrow down the project because it seemed ambiguous. I felt relieved after talking with Dr Cecile. With her help, I was able to move further with the planning phase of my project. I started planning the structure of my project. I decided to use a story to convey my message and let the audience determine the end of the story. To make it more interactive, I will put the option for the audience to learn more about electronics, recycling centres worldwide and other vital information about the theme of the project. I also concluded that the target audience for my project would be Age 18- 25 and the information would be situated on social media platforms and I could use a QR code and put it n the bus where the target audience can assess the information easily.
